The Associate Software Engineer is responsible for designing, writing, testing and debugging code for large-scale, complex applications and systems. This person will write technical design documents and participate in bug fixing and other maintenance activities.
Collaborate with team members to design, implement and test well-engineered, reliable, maintainable, and scalable applications and systems
Participate in code reviews
Identify technical and developmental risks/obstacles and generate solutions
Follow and learn best practices, processes, and systems standards
Other related duties as assigned
Bachelor’s in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience
1+ years software engineering experience
Object-Oriented Language knowledge and experience
Strong time management skills with the ability to assess risk, define priorities, and resolve problems while meeting deadlines
Excellent critical and analytical skills
Strong written and verbal communication
Game development experience, specifically MMO and/or console
C++, C#, PHP, and Lua experience
Windows and Linux development experience
